Therapy for anxiety disorders

CBT for constant worry, panic attacks, social anxiety and overthinking — online across the UK and worldwide, in English or Spanish.

Does this sound familiar?

Your mind never quite switches off. You run through worst-case scenarios, replay conversations, and brace for things that mostly never happen. Maybe panic arrives out of nowhere — a racing heart, tight chest, the certainty that something is badly wrong. Maybe social situations leave you exhausted from monitoring how you come across.

Anxiety is your threat system doing its job too well. It isn't weakness, and you don't have to wait until it burns out to get help.

How I treat anxiety

I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — the approach recommended by NICE for anxiety disorders, panic and social anxiety. Together we map exactly what keeps your anxiety going: the predictions your mind makes, the checking and avoidance that bring short-term relief, and the habits that keep the loop turning.

Then we test those predictions in real life, at a pace you control. Most people are surprised how quickly the loop loosens once they can see it clearly.

What to expect

We start with a thorough assessment (1–2 sessions) and agree clear goals. A typical course runs 8–16 weekly sessions, online or in person, and you'll have practical tools to use between sessions from week one.

Common questions

Do I need a diagnosis before starting? No. You don't need a diagnosis, a GP referral, or the right words for what's happening — describing what your days look like is enough.

What if I have panic attacks during sessions? That's okay, and it happens. Sessions are a safe place to understand panic rather than fear it — and CBT for panic is one of the best-evidenced treatments in mental health.

Does online therapy work for anxiety? Yes — research shows online CBT matches in-person outcomes for anxiety, and working from your own home can make it easier to start.

Can sessions be in Spanish? Yes — I offer therapy in English and Spanish.
